I apologize for not being able to write a lot this summer. I have been super super busy because my program plans a lot for us and in my free time I hang out with friends and host family relatives. I only have 3 days left now and I am really feeling sad. I truly love Izmir (it might be my favorite city in Turkey) and I am really going to miss all of my new friends, both Turkish and American.
This past weekend I went to Çeşme with my host family to go to the beach and relax. I took several naps during tr day because the sun truly soaks the energy out of you. We went to the beach a lot and walked around the touristy town. It was a fun, but also very relaxing.
I am getting EXTREMELY EXCITED to go to Samsun this weekend to stay with my old host family and see my friends. I can't believe it is finally here after 14 months of not being there.
